Red and green is traditional and oh-so jolly, but blue is perfect if you want to add updated holiday charm to your home.
What do you think of blue for the holiday season?
For me, shades of crisp, beautiful blue reminds me of cold winter mornings and crisp blue skies. Living on the east coast of Canada, we are often blessed with wintery days and blue skies. Those bright winter days are so beautiful that I can’t help but be inspired to capture some of those colors in my art.
Pantone’s color of the year for 2020 was Classic Blue so it’s no wonder blue is trending for the holidays this year.
Blue holiday decorations feel modern and stylish. I love how cool shades of blue mix perfectly with silver and pops of greenery to create a color story that makes the holidays come alive.
